• The Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science

P.J.A.S. is a statewide organization of junior high and senior high school students (grades 7 – 12) designed to stimulate and promote interest in science among its members through the development of research projects and investigations.  Students research a topic then design and conduct a controlled experiment.  They report their results at the Regional Competition held at California University of Pennsylvania on a Saturday in February.  Students are judged according to the rubric created by the American Association for the Advancement of Science.  Regional winners can attend the State Competition held at Penn State University in May.

Application/Registration forms will be available in November and due in December.
