PSU Application Information

We want to give your students the opportunity to extend their decision date from May 1 to June 1. To do so, have your students go to their MyPennState account and click the link "Request to Extend Offer Date." This will provide an extra month for your students to accept the offer of admission and become part of the Penn State family. If extra time is needed to accept the offer of admission, please have students request the extension before May 1.

We hope that students will take advantage of our virtual visitation experiences found at Experience Penn State so they can experience Penn State right from their home. 

The sooner your students accept the offer of admission to Penn State, the sooner they will be able to:

Schedule ALEKS testing (a requirement of all incoming students)

Register for New Student Orientation

Register for classes

Secure on-campus housing (should they desire to live on campus)

Extending the decision date to June 1 will not affect the aid package.
